Do you want to live music for your event?
Consider hiring one of our small ensemble groups of 3-8 musicians to play live background music for 2-3 hours at your event.
A variety of styles can be performed including Jazz, Blues, Swing, Bebop, Hard Bop, Ballads, Greek, Egyptian, etc. Whatever will suit the mood of the evening.

Roads
Greek & Egyptian Folk Music
The Silk Roads Collective plays Greek and Egyptian folk music. They also include Oriental dancing in their performances. They are a group of eight musicians from very varied backgrounds who have come together through their shared love of world music. They have performed at the Greek Festival on Lonsdale St, Melbourne since 2018. They recently performed at the Melbourne University Artist Register.

The Silk Roads Trio plays Greek and Egyptian folk music - including original music and improvisation. Justin Foster on Baglamadaki and Clarinet, Pano Mitropoulos on Guitar, and Yianni Mitropoulos on Bozouki.
