The Silk Roads Trio:

The Silk Roads Trio plays Greek and Egyptian folk music.

Justin Foster: Baglamadaki and Clarinet
Pano Mitropoulos: Guitar
Yianni Mitropoulos: Bozouki.

Before COVID, we played regularly at Claypots on Monday nights 7-8pm.

You would hear many traditional Greek/Eqyptian Folk and Dance songs like: Misirlou, Samiotissa, and Pino Kai Metho. You would also hear original music and improvisation during the night. We occassionally brought in other guest performers, like singers and drummers from Silk Roads Collective. Quite often the audience would join in with 'opa's, singing, and spontaneous dancing to our music.

We are available for hire at restaurants, cafes, parties, festivals, weddings, retirement homes, outdoor spaces, corporate functions, conventions, etc. If you want to find out more about our Trio, or would be interested in having live Greek Music performed at your venue, please contact us.
